Position: Driver Non CDL Home Daily
Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in West Chester, OH. This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay and Schedule
- Driver Positions Pay Weekly
- Hours Per Week: 40+ hours per week
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.37 per Mile with 1600 Miles per Week
- Solo Stops Pay: $13.00 per Dealership Stop with 20 Stops per Week
- Solo Stops Pay: $20.00 per Warehouse Stop with 7 Stops per week
- Paid Training
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
- Start Time: 1:00 AM – 5:00 AM
Route & Equipment
- Deliver SOLO to: OH, KY, IN, and WV
- Route:
Local Home Daily - Truck Type:
Box Truck – 16′, 22′ & 26′ - Equipment:
Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck - Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note:
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
- This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
