We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Movers/Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a combination of driving skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck for transporting goods to various locations.
- Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
- Perform route driving to deliver products on time while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the moving process.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with an understanding of inventory management practices.
- Proficient in driving box trucks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Experience in route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while following safety protocols.
