Your Mission

As Driver Manager for Government Operations, you will oversee our company drivers while managing Global Freight Management (GFM), Department of Defense transportation movements, hazardous materials shipments, and complex transloading projects.

You will become the operational link between customers, military installations, project managers, drivers, ports, and company leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

* Manage company drivers and team-driver operations

* Dispatch and monitor DoD, DOE, and hazardous material and sensitive shipments

* Coordinate Global Freight Management (GFM) tender operations

* Execute transportation plans for government and commercial defense projects

* Monitor driver Hours of Service, compliance, and equipment utilization

* Coordinate military installation appointments and port operations

* Communicate with customers, project managers, military personnel, and third-party logistics providers

* Resolve operational issues while maintaining exceptional customer service

* Support transloading, cross-docking, export, and project cargo operations

* Ensure shipments meet all safety, security, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Experience

* Transportation dispatch or driver management

* Department of Defense or government freight experience (preferred)

* Hazardous materials operations

* TMS and ELD systems

* Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations

* Project freight, intermodal, or port operations experience is a plus

* Excellent organizational and communication skills
