Job Summary:

Driver Helpers are responsible for helping with local delivery activities within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist delivery drivers with delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times

• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers, sales representatives, supervisors, and store personnel

• Assist with verifying deliveries and completing required documentation

• Pick up and return empty kegs and damaged product as assigned

• Rotate product in accordance with company standards

• Stock coolers, shelves, and displays at customer locations at time of delivery

• Deliver and move product into customer locations, including navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying environments

• Unload product from delivery vehicles using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and proper handling techniques
• Perform all duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 – 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
