About the Role:
We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to support our delivery operations. In this role, you’ll assist the driver in transporting and unloading building materials to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading building materials from trucks at warehouses and job sites
- Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage
- Navigate job sites and help position materials as directed by site supervisors
- Communicate effectively with the driver, warehouse staff, and customers
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and assist with basic inspections
- Help verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) with or without assistance
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction or delivery is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
