Our company proudly offers non-medical, non-emergency transportation to individuals seeking a personal touch, above what general transportation services offer. We are currently seeking drivers who enjoys the reward that comes from helping seniors in our community! to assist our clients to and from appointments and other special events. Our schedule is Mondays – Fridays. However, Weekends, Extended and/or overnight shifts may sometimes be available.
The Driver will be responsible for safe transportation of the clients to designated locations and from for the purpose of non-emergency transportation services. Operates with a sense of urgency. Have interpersonal communication skills. Independently anticipates needs and provide problem solving solutions. Maintain the confidentiality of all of the company and clients matters. Have the ability to work with a sense of enthusiasm and team work and cooperation with superiors. Maintain standards of driving. Present with professionalism.
Job Duties
- Shifts Are half day 2-6 hours or full day/shift 7-12 hours.
- Operation of non-emergency vehicles
- Operation of multiple types of mobility equipment including varying types of wheelchairs, walkers, and canes
- Documentation of transport status, transit time, and idle time
- Flexibly of schedule to meet the needs of the operations department
- Interact with passengers, patients, health care providers, dispatch personnel, and family members or responsible parties of passengers in a professional manner.
- Responsible communication with management, passengers, patients, health care providers, dispatch personnel, and family members or responsible parties of passengers
- Attend company meetings
- Undergo additional training
- Adhere to company policies
- Ability to push, pull, lift, assist passengers and their equipment in relation to transportation, loading, and unloading. Ability to drive long distances.

Qualifications
- Valid California driver license
- Clean DMV record
- Clean Background Record
- US work authorization (Required)
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Enthusiasm
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- CPR certified (Preferred)
- Defensive Driving (Preferred)
- 1-year previous NEMT experience (preferred)
- Use of mobile android or apple software in accordance with personal ownership of smart-device. Self-maintenance and availability/provision of smart-device. Operate with a sense of urgency. Interpersonal communication. Independently anticipate needs and provide problem solving. Maintain confidentiality of all business and passenger matters. Ability to work with a sense of enthusiasm and team work and cooperation with superiors. Maintain standards of driving. Present with professionalism.

Base Pay: From $170.00 per day
