Job Summary
Top Cat Messenger & Moving Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Driver / Courier to support our delivery and logistics operations in Brooklyn. This role is responsible for completing scheduled pickups and deliveries, communicating with dispatch, handling materials safely, and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the workday.
This is a fast-paced position for someone who can stay organized, follow directions, and work independently without constant supervision. The right candidate is punctual, dependable, comfortable driving throughout the day, and able to handle physical work as part of daily operations.
Duties
- Complete assigned pickups and deliveries in a safe and timely manner
- Follow designated routes and delivery instructions
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding delays, issues, and completed stops
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Handle packages, bins, boxes, and other materials with care
- Maintain professionalism with clients and staff at pickup and drop-off locations
- Verify delivery information and complete required paperwork or delivery confirmations when needed
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements at all times
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Smartphone required (BYOD)
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable driving throughout the workday
- Able to work independently and follow direction
- Prior courier, delivery, route driving, or logistics experience preferred
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay
- $17.00 to $22.50 per hour
Additional Details
- Company vehicle provided during shift only
- Vehicle is not take-home
- Fuel card provided for company vehicle use only
- Paid training provided
- Paid sick time provided in accordance with applicable law
Hiring Process
