We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver / Construction Runner to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials, tools, and equipment to various construction sites and project locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver supplies, tools, and materials to designated job sites
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules, adjusting plans as needed for traffic or site changes
- Assist with moving heavy equipment or materials around construction sites, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with site managers, contractors, and team members during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Support warehouse activities by picking up supplies or returning unused materials as directed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably within a construction or warehouse environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in fast-paced settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving equipment or materials safely
- Familiarity with warehouse tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous
- Prior experience in route driving, load & unload procedures, and construction site logistics is highly desirable
- Dependable, punctual, with a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
