SB Specialty Metals is hiring an experienced CDL Class B Flatbed Driver to run local deliveries throughout the Michigan area—no overnights, no long hauls.
If you’re experienced with flatbed loads, strapping, and securing steel, and want consistent, reliable work—this is a great opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive local routes — home every night
- Deliver steel materials using a flatbed truck
- Load/unload and secure flatbed loads safely (critical part of the job)
- Operate a forklift and assist in the warehouse as needed
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintain your truck
- Provide professional, reliable service at delivery locations
What We’re Looking For
- CDL Class B License – must be clean (no violations)
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of industrial or flatbed delivery driving experience
- 5+ years of experience loading trucks and securing loads
- Forklift experience (3+ years required)
- Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math
- Familiarity with Michigan routes
- Steel industry experience is strongly preferred
