Class A Driver
Triumph Modular, Inc. in Littleton, MA is seeking a Class A Driver to deliver ground level containers and office trailers.
Function/Responsibilities:
- Deliver 20’ and 40’ ground level containers; deliver 8’ to 12’ wide office and modular trailers; block, level, set up stairs in a reasonable amount of time.
- Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer orders.
- Utilize Cameras and take pictures of equipment when necessary, per company policy.
- Inspect all equipment for damages.
- Record all delivery activity onto a driver’s log and pass in all appropriate paperwork at the end of each workday to dispatch.
- Understand Company policy and FHWA/DOT laws that apply.
- Fill out daily vehicle inspection reports.
- Clean truck inside and out minimum of 1 time per week.
- No block, stairs, etc are to be left in any office trailer being returned to Littleton yard; these items are to be unloaded in front of appropriate containers.
- Call each customer day of delivery or pick up to confirm site and directions.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Construction sites with moderate to high noise levels. Consistent lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, working in extreme cold and heat.
- Normal Work Schedule 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday however occasionally may have to start earlier or stay later.
Requirements:
Education Required: High School Diploma
Skills Oral Communication Skills Math Aptitude
Written Communication Skills Organization
Customer Service Reading Skills
Experience 2 year driving recommended
CertificationsClass-A driver’s license
Valid forklift certification
Valid Medical Card
Physical Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
Must be able to pass a DOT physical every 2 years
OtherOversize load and general mechanical knowledge helpful
