Job Situation:
Union represented, schedule Monday-Friday 12-4 a.m. 8-10 hrs, 40 hrs. Interstate:
Southeast PA, northern Delaware, northeast Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to always guarantee safety.
- Completes daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
- Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.
Qualifications
- Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
- Have a valid REAL r’s license, U.S. passport, or federal .
- Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).
- You must successfully pass our drug test, MVR, and background check.
- FMCSA’s Clearinghouse Registration required.
- Customer-oriented attitude, minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious convictions (DOT requirement to check last 10 years).
- Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations, local, state, federal requirements.
- Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
- Proficiency in using a smartphone, electronic logging device (ELD), scanner, and log deliveries.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
Benefits
The hourly wage for this position is $32.25/hour.
