Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Jaipur. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver hydroponic vegetables, microgreens, and fresh produce to cafes, restaurants, hotels, retailers, and distributors according to scheduled routes. Daily tasks include loading and unloading produce, verifying delivery documents, maintaining product quality during transit, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The role involves interacting with clients in a professional manner, collecting signatures or delivery confirmations, and communicating any delivery issues to the operations team. The Driver will also be expected to keep vehicles clean, perform basic vehicle checks, follow traffic and safety regulations, and support occasional intercity deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or applicable heavy vehicle license) and a clean driving record.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, operations, and customers.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Jaipur, with flexibility for early morning or evening routes.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety checks and preventive maintenance is beneficial.
- Familiarity with local Jaipur routes and surrounding areas is an advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting crates of produce.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or food distribution is preferred.
