Position Summary of the Driver:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Road Driver to join a growing logistics team in Columbus, OH. This position is responsible for transporting freight across regional and non-regional routes while ensuring safe, timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Position Responsibilities of the Driver:
· Operate a commercial vehicle transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations
· Ensure all cargo is properly loaded and secured prior to departure
· Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns
· Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
· Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, mileage, and freight documentation
· Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route issues
· Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company
Position Requirements:
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in resident state
· Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements required
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Ability to meet all DOT and company requirements
· Strong commitment to workplace safety
· Ability to safely perform essential job functions without risk to self or others
· Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
· Authorized to work in the United States
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Impeccable customer service skills and professional attitude
