Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Driver position located in Suffolk County, NY. As a Driver at Jiffy Junk, you will be responsible for operating company trucks to transport and dispose of various types of items removed from clients' locations. You will work directly with customers to provide excellent service, ensure proper handling and disposal of items, and maintain accurate records of completed jobs. Additional responsibilities include vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Truck Driving and handling vehicles, preferably with CDL Class A certification
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining trucks to ensure safety and efficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and complete physical tasks effectively
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Familiarity with local routes in Suffolk County, NY is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and extended periods of physical activity
