Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule. This role offers an opportunity to work with a professional fleet, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, and more. Candidates with a strong driving background and knowledge of route planning will thrive in this position.
Duties
- Safely operate different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations across various routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist in securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck type (e.g., tanker, flatbed).
- Experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver experience.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Experience with specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight transport and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts if required for loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Pay: $25.13 – $30.27 per hour
