🔎 We’re Hiring: General Support (Driver)
📍 Location: TIC III, UPM – MTDC (Serdang)
💼 Division: Technology Ecosystem Development Business Division (TEDBD)
Are you a professional driver with experience in executive transport? MTDC is seeking a General Support (Driver) to provide safe, punctual, and discreet mobility services for the EVP of TEDBD while ensuring vehicle readiness and comfort at all times.
🚀 What You’ll Do:
🛣 Executive Transport & Mobility
- Provide daily pick-up/drop-off between Glenmarie (Residence) ↔ TIC III UPM–MTDC (Serdang) ↔ MTDC HQ Bukit Bintang and ad-hoc official meetings.
- Airport transfers (KLIA/KLIA2/Subang) as required.
- Standby services during meetings/events, and limited official errands as directed by EVP/PA.
- Plan routes proactively using live traffic applications and communicate ETA changes immediately.
🚗 Vehicle Management
- Maintain executive-ready vehicle: interior dust-free, exterior clean, mirrors and windshields clear.
- Conduct daily safety checks, coordinate servicing, and maintain mileage/fuel/toll/service logs.
- Ensure vehicle reliability, safety, and readiness at all times.
🔒 Professional Conduct & Confidentiality
- Observe strict confidentiality regarding EVP schedule, destinations, conversations, and documents.
- Maintain silence, discretion, and professional etiquette in the vehicle.
- Follow uniform, grooming, and corporate standards.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For:
- Minimum SPM qualification.
- Malaysian Driving License Class D with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an executive, personal, or company driver.
- Experience with VIP/Senior leaders, MPV/SUV, outstation travel, and troubleshooting preferred.
- Knowledge of Glenmarie ↔ Serdang ↔ Bukit Bintang routes and proficiency in Waze/Google Maps.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near Glenmarie (e.g. Shah Alam / Subang / Klang Valley West)
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and outstation trips.
- Additional certifications preferred: Defensive Driving (MIROS), First Aid/CPR/AED, Basic Fire Fighting, Executive Chauffeur Etiquette, Vehicle Maintenance Basics, Security & Situational Awareness.
