Dock Worker – Night Shift Jobs in North Bay, Canada at Manitoulin Transport
Job Description
Conveys materials and items from inbound trailer to outbound trailer or to specified staging areas
Records the amount of materials received or distributed
Marks materials with identifying information
On occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the Bill of Lading
Operation of a pallet jack and forklift to move material
Take an active roll in dock safety and maintenance
This position is for the night shift starting at 11:00pm
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Ability to perform common math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Able to perform the physical requirements such as standing, walking, and lifting
Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines
Forklift license would be considered an asset
A positive attitude willing to contribute in a productive way
Ability to work within a team
