Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Delivery Truck Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, adhering to route plans
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing stock for efficient dispatch
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with courier or box truck operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, including load & unload processes
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles and operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with route driving, navigation tools, and traffic regulations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with load securing techniques and vehicle safety inspections
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
