Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves safely delivering and assembly of home furnishing to customers with a team member. Ensuring that all deliveries are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in warehouse handling, and a solid background in commercial driving. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless delivery operations while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck to transport home furnishings to customers homes
- Load and unload merchandise using manual lifting techniques
- Ensure accurate loading of items onto trucks according to route plans and delivery schedules
- Deliver products promptly while providing excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon receipt
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities to prevent accidents
- Follow provided routes for timely deliveries and adapt to route changes as necessary
- Support team members with moving or rearranging stock within the warehouse as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a focus on route driving and customer service
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures and inventory handling
- Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks
- Familiarity with manual lifting techniques
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record to qualify for company insurance
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning
- Good communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and warehouse operations

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
