This job is for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate, requiring safe transport of materials in a flatbed truck, securing cargo, performing vehicle inspections, and providing excellent customer service, while also handling general warehouse duties like loading/unloading, inventory management (counting, sorting, packing), and operating equipment (forklift) during downtime, needing a clean Class C license, physical ability (50lb lift), and warehouse experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Driving & Delivery: Safely deliver materials, secure loads with straps, complete pre/post-trip inspections, get customer confirmations/signatures, and maintain a clean vehicle.
- Customer Service: Verify deliveries with customers, ensure products meet needs, maintain a professional attitude.
- Warehouse Support: Load/unload, move products by hand or forklift, sort/pack/unpack, count/weigh/label items, manage inventory, and assist with daily procedures.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety rules, use proper PPE, and report any issues.
- Physical: Lift 50 lbs, climb, stand, walk, and perform general labor.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- License: Minimum Class C with a clean driving record; ability to drive a 24′ International Flatbed.
- Experience: 1-2 years as a delivery driver supporting a warehouse; warehouse experience (picking, shipping/receiving, cycle counting) is highly desired.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to learn new products/materials, knowledge of warehouse equipment (forklift), teamwork, and problem-solving.
Key Requirements
- Physical: Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Safety: Must pass background/drug screens and have a clean driving record (no recent DUIs/suspensions/major violations).
