We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a vital role in our company as you will be the face of our organization to our customers.
Duties:
– Safely operate commercial vehicles such as vans, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers
– Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
– Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
– Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
– Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
– Ensure proper handling and storage of delivered items
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
– Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Familiarity with local roads and routes
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills
