Job Title: Delivery Driver / Saw Operator
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our small machine shop team in Lafayette, IN. This position is split between operating a saw and performing metal fabrication tasks as well as making deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and have a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities: Delivery Driver/Saw Operator
- Operate a saw and assist with various metal fabrication tasks.
- Safely load, transport, and deliver materials to customers on schedule.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of materials before delivery.
- Maintain delivery logs and related paperwork.
- Assist with general shop duties as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements: Delivery Driver/Saw Operator
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain shop equipment (saw experience preferred, but training available).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous shop or delivery experience is a plus.
Schedule: Full-time, day shift (hours to be discussed).
