Job description
General Glass is looking for a Delivery Driver (CDL) to join our team who is responsible for the daily delivery for all products as scheduled in Washington and Oregon.

Role and Responsibilities
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the daily delivery for all products as scheduled. The driver is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the trucks and communicating any issues that prevent them from running at optimal levels. He/she will be held accountable for delivering a high-quality product in a timely manner. The driver is responsible for following all processes, policies, and procedures. Safety, Quality, and productivity will be a daily focus. The driver will communicate all relevant information to his/her team members as well as the supervisor

Job duties
- Work in a safe manner, wear proper PPE, and follow all General Glass safety policies and report all injuries immediately no matter how minor
- Follow all traffic rules and learn any various state specific rules
- Ensure the truck is mechanically sound and ready to run route (tire pressure, fluid levels, lights & signals, etc.) Communicate any issues to supervisor immediately
- Perform pre- inspection each morning and properly fill out driver checklist
- Clean trucks daily both inside and outside
- Ensure all pieces are properly secured and communicate any issues to supervisor
- Require customers to properly sign shipping information and track any backorders or damaged glass to customer service. Turn in information to supervisor.
- Develop relationships with customers and communicate any on-going problems to management as they arise
- Effectively work in both a team setting and independently
- Properly document all return pick-ups to quality manager and ensure the return placed on the proper rack
- Be willing to assist in the warehouse as needed
- Maintain flexibility with routes and be willing to switch around based on company needs
- Over-Time required to meet business needs
- Random drugs screens quarterly including THC· Be willing to assist in the warehouse as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Operating experience: 1+ years driving experience, Drive manual transmission
Class A CDL without an automatic restriction

Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
- commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License:
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Must be over 23 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license (required)

Schedule:
- Day shift early mornings required
- Monday to Thursday. Possible Fridays in the future.
Shift:
- 10-12 hours typically depending on day
