West Central Equipment, the John Deere turf and agriculture equipment dealer in Somerset PA is seeking a full-time delivery truck driver with an excellent driving record and focus on customer service. The Delivery Truck Driver will load and unload equipment at the Somerset store and customer locations. The Driver must create an exceptional customer experience with each delivery. Weekend work, when required, is Saturday mornings only (no Sunday hours). Home every night.
Job Duties
- Deliver new equipment to customers and demonstrate equipment features as needed
- Pickup and deliver serviced and repaired equipment to/from customers
- Maintain required records and paperwork as directed by the service manager
- Strap or chain-down equipment on trucks and trailers to ensure safety and security, and no damage
- Assist service manager and other location personnel, as requested, with non-driving duties

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- CDL (Class B) Required . . . DoT Medical Examiner's Certificate Required and can be acquired after hire
- Excellent driving record
- Proven customer relationship skills
- Ability to drive, or learn to drive, turf equipment, tractors, skid loaders and other equipment in inventory
- Ability to safely operate, or learn to operate a forklift
- Ability to read customer invoices and delivery documents
- Must be willing to download company apps on your personal phone
