Position: Delivery Driver(08442) 15263 Hook Blvd. Suite E
Job Description
Responsible for operating all equipment and preparing food products, stocking ingredients from the delivery area, walk‑in cooler, and work areas. Process telephone orders and take inventory, completing required paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
Orientation and on‑job training provided.
Communication Skills
Must comprehend and provide correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers both over the phone and in person to process orders.
Essential Functions & Skills
- Perform accurate and rapid addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator may be used).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Use motor coordination between wrist and fingers for rapid, precise movements.
Work & Physical Conditions
Work performed in varying temperatures (36 to 90+°F) with exposure to fumes, dust, and hot surfaces. May involve standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Delivery Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers by car, including packaging products and handling flyers or door hangers.
- Navigate complex delivery routes, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other sites.
Physical Demands of Delivery
Carry pizzas, sides and beverages while walking, climbing stairs, and performing other physical tasks during delivery.
