Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver Helper to assist with daily delivery operations. This role involves supporting the delivery team by handling loading, unloading, and assisting with route driving to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and experience in warehouse or delivery environments. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in commercial driving and logistics operations.
Duties
- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading packages using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary
- Help load boxes into the truck, ensuring proper placement for safe transport
- Support the driver during route driving, including navigation and customer interactions
- Deliver goods to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service and professionalism
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Help with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment as needed
- Maintain safety standards during loading, unloading, and driving activities
- Assist with route planning and adherence to delivery schedules
Skills
- Prior experience in customer service or warehouse operations is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving, including box trucks or similar vehicles
- Experience with delivery driver roles or courier services is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages safely
- Knowledge of forklift operation, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong driving skills with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently and adapt to changing schedules
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Physical stamina for lifting, moving heavy items, and working on your feet throughout the day

Pay: $110.00 – $130.00 per day
