Sans Midman Furniture in Vancouver, WA is looking for a Delivery Driver, Installer, and Warehouse Associate. This position is involved in every phase of moving product from our warehouse to our customers’ homes. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term and become an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- See that arriving shipments are unloaded in a safe & timely manner
- Put merchandise away in racking
- Deliver and install furniture and mattresses using our delivery van in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Locate, load and unload merchandise into customers’ vehicles and delivery trucks in a safe and professional manner.
- Furniture assembly
- Maintaining a clean warehouse
- Picking, pulling and tagging orders accurately
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record. NO CDL REQUIRED!
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Must have the ability to work with others in a team environment
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods
- 1–3 years of successful work experience, preferably in a warehouse, delivery, or installation environment
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand assembly instructions
- A great attitude and friendly, personable demeanor
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- You must complete the knowledge assessment test to be considered for this position
Preferred but not required
- Forklift certification
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience
- Knowledge of common tools and equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, drills, screw guns, etc.
- Furniture assembly experience
This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will influence and contribute to the overall success of our store. Must be able to work SATURDAY to be considered for this position. Other days are flexible.
