Position: Delivery Driver for Furniture & Appliances
Become a crucial part of The Brick as a Furniture and Appliance Delivery Driver. Utilize your driving skills and customer service passion in a physically engaging role that keeps you active.
In this position, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and contribute to a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and loading products, performing pre-trip inspections, and providing top-notch service during in-home deliveries. Physical stamina is necessary as you will lift heavy items regularly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and load products for timely delivery
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections before each route
• Lift and carry items into customers’ homes carefully
• Provide in-home customer service including resolution of issues
• Document delivery status accurately and promptly
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Experience in delivery preferred but not mandatory
• Current Driver’s Abstract needed for driving assignments
• Ability to lift heavy merchandise over 50 lbs regularly
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
