Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver specializing in furniture delivery to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture items from our warehouse to customers’ homes or business locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving expertise and physical strength, will ensure that each delivery is handled efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions to deliver furniture items across designated routes.
- Load and unload furniture using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with furniture placement, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Warehouse experience is preferred, including familiarity with loading/unloading equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks with manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy furniture items safely and perform physical tasks related to moving and loading.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance routines.

Pay: $16.00 – $26.00 per hour
