Position Overview
Superior Decks and Railings is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver (CDL Class A) to support our growing construction operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting construction materials to job sites across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and South Dakota. In addition to driving, the role includes loading/unloading materials, operating a forklift, and assisting with general warehouse tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive company truck and gooseneck trailer to deliver materials to active construction sites.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment, following safety protocols.
- Perform and document daily DOT-compliant vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip).
- Communicate with job site teams and the Shipping Coordinator to coordinate deliveries.
- Stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming deliveries.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not on delivery routes.
- Follow all applicable DOT regulations, local traffic laws, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and current forklift certification.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug test and maintain compliance.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
- Experience operating flatbeds, trailers, and forklifts preferred.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Year-round availability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Environment
- Job sites are located throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and South Dakota.
- Based at our main warehouse in Lakeville, MN.
- Role includes both outdoor and indoor tasks in a construction/warehouse environment.
- Work may occasionally include overtime, depending on project needs.
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
