Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in London. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering pizzas and other menu items to customers, ensuring orders are accurate and handled with care. Daily tasks include checking orders against receipts, planning delivery routes, handling cash and electronic payments, and following food safety and hygiene guidelines. The role involves providing friendly and professional customer service at the door, supporting in-store operations such as packaging orders and maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with the team and management to meet delivery time targets. The Delivery Driver is expected to follow all traffic regulations, maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition, and represent Pizza Hut’s brand standards in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members.
- Experience in Food & Beverage environments, with an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
- Sales and upselling abilities to promote menu items, deals, and add-ons during customer interactions.
- Comfort with Training and learning new procedures, including delivery protocols, systems, and safety guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and confidence navigating London streets and traffic.
- Ability to lift and carry food items and delivery bags, and to stand or move for extended periods.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and basic numeracy for handling payments and order checks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
