Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Clearwater, FL. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading printed materials to and from client locations and partner facilities, following scheduled routes and timeframes. Daily tasks include inspecting the vehicle, completing basic maintenance checks, and documenting deliveries with accurate logs, signatures, and delivery confirmations. The role also involves handling materials with care to prevent damage, organizing products for efficient delivery, and coordinating with production and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues. The Delivery Driver interacts with clients in a professional, courteous manner, representing PLS Print’s commitment to quality and dependable service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, including professional communication and a client-focused approach.
- Forklift operation or pallet jack experience for safe loading and unloading of materials (or willingness to be trained).
- Ability to train on and follow company delivery procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
- Experience in sales or upselling services is a plus, particularly in a print, logistics, or related environment.
- Background in fast-paced environments such as food & beverage or hospitality is helpful for managing time-sensitive deliveries.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry packages and printed materials repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management, route planning, and problem-solving skills, with reliability and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience is an advantage.
