Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and reduce delivery times.
- Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns with clear communication.
- Manage merchandise loading and unloading, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring accurate delivery of items.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, utilizing sales and merchandising skills to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip, ensuring organizational efficiency.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and transaction accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed during deliveries.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day.
- Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
- Military background or experience can be beneficial for discipline, route planning, and operational efficiency. Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
