Position description
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of food, parcels, and other goods using company-approved vehicles or scooters.
The role is required to ensure that deliveries are completed efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with Maltese traffic laws, transport regulations, and company procedures.
This position is necessary to support the company’s daily delivery operations and to ensure continuity of service to customers, partner businesses, and delivery platforms.
Main Duties
The Delivery Driver shall be responsible for:
- Collecting food orders, parcels, and goods from restaurants, shops, warehouses, or other designated locations.
- Delivering items to customers safely and within required timeframes.
- Following assigned delivery routes, schedules, and platform instructions.
- Ensuring the safe handling and proper transport of food and goods.
- Using mobile applications or delivery platforms to manage orders and confirm deliveries.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and basic condition of the vehicle or scooter used for deliveries.
- Reporting delays, incidents, or vehicle issues to the company in a timely manner.
- Following company procedures, road safety rules, and Maltese traffic regulations.
- Delivery Drivers perform their duties using company-approved scooters or small vehicles suitable for urban deliveries. These vehicles are selected to ensure efficient movement in urban areas, timely deliveries, and compliance with Maltese road and safety regulations.
