NO PHONE CALLS – Looking for EXPERIENCED and RELIABLE Drivers
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering meal packages to participants on assigned routes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
- Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
- Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
- Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
- Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
- Ensures that vehicle service needs and mechanical issues are reported to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to drive safely.
- Must have a minimum of 103 years experience with companies such as Amazon, Fedex, DHL.
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
- Ability to plan delivery routes.
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Education and Experience:
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, clean drug test and clear criminal background check.
- Must have a minimum of 103 years experience with companies such as Amazon, Fedex, DHL.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
