RahrBSG is looking for a Part Time DC Associate at our location in Airdrie, Alberta.

Responsibilities:
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Operate forklifts to transfer goods and materials from production or receiving sites to storage or other designated areas, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets using warehouse and production equipment.
- Sort and place materials or items on/in racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
- Mark materials with identifying information based on standard operating procedures. Use the information to monitor expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly.
- Complete requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and assist in purchasing warehouse supplies and repack containers.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare orders for shipment by courier or less than truckload freight (LTL).
- Create shipping labels for couriers and LTL freight.
- Load and unload all truck orders. Ensure loads are secured in outbound trucks.
- Complete weekly maintenance of forklift and engage repair service as needed.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items by weighing or counting products prior to receipt into inventory.
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Use technology, such as computers or handheld devices, to accurately enter records.
- Compile worksheets to organize production of repacks or sample preparation.
- Maintain inventory records and participate in cycle counting.
- Be accountable to operational metrics for productivity, inventory, and safety goals.
- Adhere to FDA, State, City, and Company guidelines for food safety handling and facility sanitation.
- Adhere to OSHA, State, City, and Company guidelines for developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company and operational needs.
Minimum Education & Work Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, one to three months related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior distribution center, warehouse, and forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Must regularly stand, walk, lift, and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non‑weather); extreme cold (non‑weather) and extreme heat (non‑weather).
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
