Cryogenic Bulk CDL A Driver – Elkhart, IN Jobs in Elkhart, IN at Purity Cylinder Gases, Inc.
The Cryogenic Bulk truck driver is responsible for picking up cryogenic liquified gases from various plants and delivering it to Purity owned cylinder plants and customer locations. This position will be driving a standard semi-tractor and hauling bulk cryogenic liquid trailers and will be responsible to hook up the trailer to Purity owned and customer bulk tanks to dispense product. Start times may vary a little based on assignment. Typical hours will be Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Major Functions:
· Pickup and deliver cryogenic liquid carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and/or argon
· Connecting trailer’s to bulk tanks and dispensing product
· Drive multiple vehicles adhering to DOT rules and company guidelines
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications Needed:
· Able to work as a team player with your supervisor and fellow employees
· Able to understand and carry out oral instructions
· Able to read written instructions and verify numbers, labels, etc.
· Ability to move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.)
· Able to drive in adverse weather conditions
· Able to drive alertly and responsibly at night
· Maintain Class A CDL with appropriate HAZMAT and other endorsements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
