Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator to handle crane operations for lifting, moving, and placing heavy materials. This role requires strong attention to safety standards, equipment care, and teamwork on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a crane to lift, transport, and position materials and equipment.
* Perform pre-operation inspections of crane, rigging, and lifting accessories including slings, cables, and straps.
* Ensure all lifts are conducted within the crane’s designated load capacity.
* Collaborate closely with riggers and ground crew to execute lifts efficiently and safely.
* Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
* Carry out routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
* Verify that all rigging gear is in proper condition before use.
* Adhere to proper lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance or unsafe conditions.
* Promote a strong safety culture by setting a positive example and supporting team compliance.
Qualifications
* Current NCCCO certification (required)
* Minimum of 2 years of crane operation experience
* Valid CDL Class A or B license
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to successfully complete a drug screening, physical/fit-for-duty exam, and background check
* Strong understanding of crane safety and operational procedures
* Clean driving record required
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
