Position Summary
The Contents Mover is responsible for safely packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and organizing customers’ personal belongings and business contents. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring all items are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, and protect furniture, electronics, and other household or commercial items for transport.
• Load and unload contents safely while preventing damage to property and belongings.
• Transport items to designated locations following company procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work vehicle and equipment.
• Complete inventory lists and document the condition of items before and after moving.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with content placement and setup at the destination.
• Report damaged items, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous moving, warehouse, restoration, or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly, with team lifting for heavier items.
• Valid driver’s license .
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Experience operating moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads.
• Basic knowledge of packing techniques and inventory management.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.

Work Environment

This position involves working at residential and commercial properties, warehouses, and storage facilities. Employees should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
