Pavement Preservation Group brings together Cactus Asphalt, American Pavement Preservation, and Viking Construction—delivering trusted, high-quality asphalt repair and preservation solutions for roads, parking lots, and more.
Full-time Salary: $25H / Overtime DOE
This position is ideal for entry-level candidates or new drivers with 1–2 years of driving experience who are eager to learn and grow. Starting pay is $25/hour.
We are looking for:
-Tanker
-Dump Truck
-Slurry Truck
-Heavy Haul
As a Driver you will:
- Keep trucks and equipment clean, organized, and safe
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections to meet DOT requirements and report any issues
- Follow dispatcher instructions and complete all required paperwork
- Be on time, reliable, and maintain a positive attitude with the team
- Load and unload materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support the crew with general labor as needed—we work as a team to keep jobs running smoothly
- Able to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed
- Operate newer equipment safely and responsibly
Requirements
- Must have or be able to get a valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card and a clean record (no violations in the last 3 years)
- Must pass a drug test and follow FMCSA regulations
- At least 2 years of driving experience required
- Must have Tanker Endorsements Hazmat is a plus
- Comfortable working outdoors in weather, noise, and physical conditions
- Help crew when needed
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs occasionally
- Able to talk, hear, and stay active throughout the day
- Must be able to travel up to 80%
- Manual transmission required
18+years plus Clean MVR/Clearinghouse
