Job Title: Class B CDL Concrete Mixer Driver
Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class B CDL Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and construction job sites while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class B concrete mixer truck in accordance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
- Load, transport, mix, and discharge concrete according to customer specifications and job site requirements
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Maintain cleanliness of the mixer drum, chutes, and truck
- Complete delivery tickets, logs, and required paperwork accurately
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and job site personnel
- Follow all traffic laws and safely navigate job sites (including backing and tight spaces)
- Assist with basic truck maintenance and report mechanical problems promptly
- Work early mornings, long days, and occasional weekends as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past 3–5 years
- Previous concrete mixer or heavy truck driving experience preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good customer service skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
Physical Demands
Frequent climbing in and out of truck, climbing ladders on mixer, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
