Responsibilities Of Our Company Driver Include
- Operate vehicles and transport for the Company
- Follow and promote safe work practices
- Maintain a valid driving record
- Follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations
- Coordinate daily with Fabrication Manager/Superintendent
- Follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes
- Must maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
- Work to promote and cultivate a positive culture among PSG employees
Duties And Responsibilities
- Must be able to safely haul a trailer
- Practice safe driving habits
- Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
- Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
- Deliver materials to job sites or other locations as instructed
- Load and unload trailers as needed
- Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and free of clutter
- Maintain vehicle and trailer equipment
- Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion
- Handle all customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and informative manner
- Collect any documents when necessary
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports
- Sign off on every delivery made and return load list/delivery list to the appropriate person. File a copy of the delivery/load list.
- Create a load list if one is not available to be signed and returned.
- Daily log of deliveries made with photos of the delivery and signed load list.
