Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including trucks with manual transmissions, across designated routes to deliver freight promptly.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms, ensuring secure handling of freight.
- Drive various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo details in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Follow route schedules diligently while managing delivery documentation and communicating effectively with dispatch teams.
- Ensure proper securing of freight on different truck types to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers and specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers or tankers.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes involving load & unload activities.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and various truck types like flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Ability to handle freight securely using equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving, freight handling, and route navigation.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance and punctuality.

Pay: $1,600.00 – $2,100.00 per week
