Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver and take charge of delivering essential materials with energy and precision! In this role, you will operate a variety of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to ensure timely and safe deliveries. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will be vital in handling diverse equipment and load types. Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport materials efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo using manual techniques or mechanical equipment while adhering to safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Drive in various environments, including urban streets and industrial sites, maintaining punctual delivery schedules.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when loading or unloading materials to ensure proper handling and safety.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and load documentation for accountability.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving across different truck types including tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on various trucks such as dump trucks and front loaders.
- Expertise in operating heavy equipment like front loaders and roll-off trucks safely and efficiently.
- Ability to load & unload cargo manually or with mechanical aids while following safety protocols.
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation for precise vehicle control in diverse conditions.
- Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including route planning, load securing, and customer service.
