Job Summary
Our company is seeking a dependable and safety-oriented CDL Class A Driver to operate 53-foot trailers. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 3 years of driving experience, and be able to speak and understand English clearly for communication with dispatch, customers, and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles with 53-foot trailers
- Transport freight efficiently and on schedule
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
- Ensure cargo is properly secured before transport
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers in English
- Report mechanical or safety issues immediately
- Maintain clean and professional equipment appearance
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience required
- Experience driving 53-foot trailers required
- Must speak and understand English
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong knowledge of highway safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
