We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including Rollback Straight Trucks/Landoll and RGN tractor-trailers to transport various pieces of construction equipment to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual or mechanical means, ensuring secure handling and proper placement.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records of cargo, and compliance documentation in accordance with transportation regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload cargo safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated with no transmission restrictions.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks with Landoll and RGN trailers.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is preferred.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques for various construction equipment types, such as backhoes/trackhoes/manlifts/forklifts etc.
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable; excellent navigation skills are essential.
