Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics operations, providing vital support to our supply chain and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks with manual transmissions across local, regional, or long-haul routes.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks based on delivery requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any issues during transit.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and 2 years of experience.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Experience driving various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques and proper cargo handling procedures.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when required.
- Strong understanding of route driving principles and safety regulations governing commercial transportation.

Pay: $0.65 – $0.70 per mile
