Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you’ll operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in manual transmissions and route driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Drive various types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver goods to customers or distribution centers.
- Manage route driving schedules proactively to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer or truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight delivery details, and vehicle condition reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment; experience with forklift operation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road; must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $2,306.08 – $6,671.41 per week
