Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including, roll-off truck, flatbeds, and dump trucks, will be essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip
- Ability to work on equipment or have mechanical experience would be a bonus
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other loading equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and freight handling
- Prior experience with freight transportation involving manual transmission vehicles is preferred
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off and straight truck confidently while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $27.50 – $35.00 per hour
