Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission across designated routes, ensuring on-time deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, adhering to safety protocols
- Drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks based on delivery requirements
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and cargo securement
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in compliance with federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of other road users
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks in various configurations such as tractor-trailers or flatbeds
- Proven track record in driving refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks preferred
- Strong knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods
- Ability to navigate route driving efficiently while managing time effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly

Pay: $2,846.30 – $3,427.81 per week
